HIP HOP MOVIES



"You got served" is a film written and directed by Chris Stokes, manager of its stars, recording artist Marques Houston and the members of boy band B2K. The plot concerns a group of dancers, who take part in a street dancing competition.


 

"Stomp the Yard" or "Steppin" is a 2007 drama and dance film produced by Rainforest Films and released through Sony Pictures' Screen Gems division on January 12, 2007. Directed by Sylvain White, "Stomp the Yard" centers around DJ Williams, a college student at a fictional historically Black university who pledges to join a fictional Greek-letter fraternity. The film's central conflict involves DJ's fraternity competing in various stepping competitions against a rival fraternity from the same school.




 

HIP HOP COMPETITION



 



The World Hip Hop Dance Championships is an international hip-hop dance competition created and operated by Hip Hop International that first occurred in 2002.The World Hip Hop Championships has four sections of competition: hip-hop for adult, varsity (ages 12-18), and junior (ages 7-12) crews, popping for solo dancers, locking for solo dancers, and breaking for adult crews.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
"Juste Debout"is an annual competion of dance hip-hop taking place in Paris sonce 2002. She is opened to the dancers of 15 countries where are organized the tests of preselecting. Established by Bruce Soné, she receives the support of the city hall of Paris since 2004. Finale takes place in the Paris-Bercy sports center since 2008. In 2012, 140 dancers take part in it in front of 16 000 spectators.
 
 
 
 


HIP HOP STYLE

 
 
The clothing style hip-hop is not congealed, it evolves in time. He influenced the fashion since his appearance and throughout his evolution.
 
For a good majority, the persons listening to some music hip-hop in the years 90-00 get dressed with pants of type jogging or baggys, wide jeans carried generally at the level of buttocks (down or in the middle).
 
 
 
 



The cap, the hat or the bandana is also spread. The style sometimes consisting in tilting him on the side or behind.
 
 
 

Some also wear chains stuck gold and/or silver, called Bling-Bling. And for pullovers mostly they wear T-shirt ample and wide.

 
 


HIP HOP GRAFFITI




The graffiti is an omnipresent phenomenon in the townscape. The graffiti allows the graffiti artist to re-appropriate his environment, and to mark his street furniture. Always realized by means of spray cans, sometimes of airbrushes, this practice requires address and training and constitute a real artistic technique. This one brings in numerous plastic notions (stylization, balances, etc.) but is also in connection with the other artistic domains. As mode of artistic expression, the graffiti is also carrier of a message of revolt and postage. He often represents a research for gratitude, a challenge to be surmounted, or an exclusive means of expression.


HIP HOP MUSIC









 The music hip-hop contains two aspects: the production and the rap singing.
 The rap is a jerky singing consisted of often very full of imagery words, rich in assonances and alliterations. Influenced by the toasting and by the precursors in the jazz or the rock, he knows a success such as we sometimes assimilate the music hip-hop to the rap. Soon, the first rappers felt the envy to tell something furthermore, and began to speak about the ghetto or their daily life. The human beatbox represents several created music kinds by using the voice, the throat and the nose.
Invented by Doug E. Fresh, he had a big success in the 1980s before declining to return towards the end of 1990s. As the other disciplines of the culture hip-hop, the beatbox knows a global echo.

HIP HOP DANCE


 



Hip-hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture.
We can find severales styles of dance as Breaking, Locking, Popping which were created in the 1970s and made popular by dance crews in the United States.

Breaking was created in the South Bronx, New York during the early 1970s. It is the first hip-hop dance style.



Locking, originally called Campbellocking, was created in Los Angeles, California by Don "Campbellock" Campbell and popularized in the United States by his crew The Lockers.

 
Popping was created by Sam Solomon in Fresno, California and performed by his crew the Electric Boogaloos.It is based on the technique of quickly contracting and relaxing muscles to cause a jerk in a dancer's body,
